To help strengthen the information and communications technology (ICT) capabilities of the SUC Personnel, a series of training webinars via Zoom will be offered by the University of the Philippines - Information Technology Development Center (UP-ITDC), as part of the PUBLIC SERVICE mandate of UP. These webinars are FREE.

This webinar introduces the Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) as one of the requirements in government agencies' IT procurement, IT acquisition, and other IT-related assets in correspondence with the Medium-Term Information and Communications Technology Harmonization Initiative (MITHI).

The UP Office of the Vice President for Digital Transformation - Information Technology Development Center (UP OVPDx-ITDC) will be holding this webinar on processing documentation/mapping for UP and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
This webinar workshop equips staff with practical skills to document and standardize work processes for greater efficiency, consistency, and accountability. Participants will learn how to create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), flowcharts, and checklists using freely available open-source tools such as LibreOffice and Draw.io.
The session also introduces the RACI Chart (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) to help clarify roles and responsibilities in daily operations. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants will draft a process document relevant to their own work and integrate a RACI chart to define accountability. Pre- and post-training activities ensure that learning is applied directly to real processes, supporting quality improvement, knowledge retention, and smoother service delivery.
This webinar will provide procurement officers, IT administrators, and institutional decision-makers with essential insights and best practices for aligning IT investments with institutional goals.
Certificates of attendance will be available after the training sessions, thus participants MUST use their SUC email account to register for the webinars.
Certificates will be issued only to those who:
Have attended at least 80% of the webinar.
Have completed the evaluation form AFTER the webinar (see SECTION F).

C. Webinar Schedule
Please use your SUC email account to register and join the online training sessions.
Certificates are available to those who meet the webinar attendance and evaluation requirements. Certificates will be ready 2-3 working days AFTER completion. Please see Section F. Evaluation below.
F. Evaluation
To receive a certificate, complete the evaluation by doing the following
Go to the UP Public Events Management System (UP PEMS) portal: https://publicems.up.edu.ph/ and then create a new account (if you do not have an account here yet). Make sure to use your SUC email account to sign up, and enter your correct and complete details.
Use the same email address you registered with in the Zoom webinar. (NOTE: It should be your official SUC email account)
Log in and enter the Webinar Event Code (this is provided during the session).
