PNOC recently held its "Partners' Night" in Taguig City, celebrating 51 years of advancing energy innovation. The event, themed "Three Arrows Strategy: Gaining Momentum," honored key partners for their contributions to renewable energy, efficiency, and social enterprise.
PNOC President and CEO Oliver Butalid highlighted the company's progress in solar, wind, and off-grid energy initiatives, reinforcing PNOC's mission to provide sustainable, affordable power to underserved communities. Department of Energy Secretary Raphael Perpetuo Lotilla and Assistant Secretary Kristine Joy Diaz-Teston discussed the country’s commitment to accessible energy and PNOC’s role in attracting investments for energy transformation.
During the evening, PNOC presented the “Partner’s Light,” a lightbox featuring an offshore wind turbine, to over 40 leaders in the energy industry as a token of gratitude. Prof. Rica Abad, representing the UP President, and UP ITDC Director Paulo Noel G. Paje received the “Partners Light” from Secretary of Energy Lotilla and PNOC President Oliver Butalid. This event took place on November 8, 2024, at Marquis Events Place, Bonifacio Global City.
