In a strategic move to enhance the business and digital competencies of personnel from state universities and colleges (SUCs) nationwide, the UP ITDC, under the Office of the Vice President for Digital Transformation (OVPDx), successfully held a free webinar titled “Introduction to Business Intelligence: Driving Digital Transformation in SUCs.”
Held via Zoom on 5 November 2025, the three-hour session drew an impressive 547 participants from various SUCs across the country, including representatives from Marinduque State University, Bataan Peninsula State University, Isabela State University, and Cebu Normal University.
The webinar featured Victoria "Veck" Basinang, Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of Pointwest Digital Corporation, as the resource speaker. With over 30 years of experience in technology leadership and business development, Basinang is a recognized expert in digital innovation, particularly in Cloud, Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
