ITDC Hosts Webinar on Office Productivity Tools



On June 4, 2025, the UP ITDC, in collaboration with SoftwareOne Philippines, conducted an insightful webinar titled “Office Productivity Tools.” Held via Zoom, the event attracted 1,395 participants from state universities and colleges (SUCs), government agencies, and private institutions across the country.

The webinar featured discussions on Microsoft 365 productivity tools, with a special focus on Microsoft Copilot, an AI-powered assistant designed to enhance efficiency and workflow. Topics covered included:

  • Leveraging apps for increased productivity
  • AI-powered efficiency with Copilot chat
  • Enhancing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with AI
  • Optimizing content management and collaboration
  • Improving communication and task management
  • Boosting audience and community engagement


  • Expert Speakers Provide Valuable Insights


    Leading the discussion were SoftwareOne Customer Experience Managers Ulysses Nuñez and Noelleen Esposo, both seasoned professionals in IT and business solutions. Nuñez, an expert in IT and telecommunications, has extensive experience in designing and implementing information systems, with particular interests in cloud technologies and AI adoption initiatives. Esposo, a skilled technology and business consultant, is recognized for her expertise in digital transformation and client engagement, bringing a strategic and collaborative leadership approach to her projects.

    The webinar drew attendees from various sectors, including: State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), government Institutions and the private sector.

    By fostering discussions on the role of AI in enhancing workplace productivity, the webinar provided participants with practical strategies to optimize their workflows and leverage modern technologies effectively.



    The webinar marked another successful initiative by UP ITDC in promoting technological advancement and capacity-building within both the academic community and the government sector. This endeavor contributes to the broader adoption of emerging digital tools across institutions in the Philippines. As part of its public service mandate, ITDC regularly conducts training through webinars. These efforts align closely with the University of the Philippines' digital transformation agenda and the strategic program of UP President Angelo A. Jimenez.
